Charles J. Mclean, Sr.

Charles J. McLean, Sr. of Weymouth, formerly of Mission Hill, passed away peacefully, January 13, 2016.

Beloved husband of 57 years to the late Mary T. (Kennedy) McLean.  Loving father of Charles McLean, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Holbrook, Brian McLean of Weymouth, Michelle Gabriel and her husband Gary of Braintree, Kerry McLean and his wife Jeanmarie of Rockland. Cherished “Gampy” of Jessica, Ryan and Sarah Gabriel, Shane and Bailey McLean and Rian Rose and Sean Michael Regan.  Dear brother of George McLean of Medford and Dorothy Madusky of N. Kingstown, RI. 

Charlie proudly served his country in the US Air Force. For 33 years, he worked as a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.  Charlie was a long time member of the Sacred Heart Choir in Weymouth. Charlie coached Braintree Little League for many years. In his spare time, Charlie enjoyed fishing, golfing and reading.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6pm in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
