Charles J. Mattina

Charles J. Mattina of Weymouth, passed away on March 28, 2018.

Charlie worked for over 30 years for Proctor and Gamble. He was a member of the Weymouth Lodge of Elks, the Braintree DAV, the Braintree American Legion Post # 86, as well as the Puritan Bridge Club of Braintree. He was also a U.S. Army veteran serving with the United States Army.

Husband of the late Betty A. (Brown). Father of Debra Mattina of Putney, VT, Janet Herrett of Randolph, Charles Mattina, Jr of Braintree, and Bonnie Howland Parrish and her husband, Edward, of Holbrook. Brother of Josephine Mattina of Quincy and the late Angelo Mattina. Grandfather of Wayne Herrett of Randolph and Cory Sanchez of Holbrook Longtime companion of Diane Bova of Weymouth. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
