Charles J. Jackson

Charles J. Jackson of Abington formerly of Halifax and Dorchester, a general manager for Donovan Services, passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday March 5, 2013. He was 60 years of age. 

 Beloved husband of 40 years to Mary Lou (Donovan) Jackson. Devoted father of Mark J. Jackson married to Mindy of Abington. Proud, loving and doting grandfather of Annahbelle and Bronson Jackson. Loving son of Evelyn (Saunders) Jackson of Pembroke and the late Arthur Jackson. Loving brother of Richard of Pembroke, Eddie of Kingston and Carol Jensen of Kingston. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

 Born in Boston, Charlie was raised and educated in Dorchester graduating from Cathedral High School in 1970 and had lived in Halifax before moving to Abington. He had worked for Donovan Services in the Dunkin Donut Franchise Industry for 26 years. Charlie was a warm, gentle, caring man that was always doing something for someone else. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the McDonald Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. South Shore Hospital) Sunday afternoon 2:00-6:00 pm. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday morning at 9:00 to be followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, East Weymouth at 10:00am and burial in the Pembroke Center Cemetery.
