Macdonald, Charles G. of Quincy, January 24, 2008. Devoted companion of Phyllis M. Cassano of Quincy. Father of Charles G. Macdonald, Jr. of Utah, Robert P. of Texas, David J. of Georgia, Denise M. McKew of Texas, Karen A. Schweizer and Douglas W. Macdonald both of New Hampshire. Brother of the late William, Roderick & Leo Macdonald. Charles is also survived by 9 grandchildren. Charles served in the United States Navy during WWII and worked as a registred pharmacist for many years. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Monday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 11:15 AM. Visitation will be prior to the Mass on Monday morning. Burial in Braintree Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charles may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Baystate Dr., PO Box 859060, Braintree, MA 02185.
