Finch, Charles E., III of Weymouth & Hull, suddenly December 7, 2006. Loving and devoted father of Ryan Finch of Weymouth. Loving son of Sandra (Keenan) Finch of Weymouth and the late Charles E. Finch, Jr. of Weymouth. Loving brother of Alisa Finch of Wareham and Jennifer (Finch) Zemotel of Quincy. Proud Uncle “Chuck-A-Luck” to Nicole & Robert Page and Matthew Magnell, all of Wareham and Andrew & Kaitlyn Zemotel, both of Quincy. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Friday at 10:30 AM followed by a procession to Hull Village Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Donations in memory of Chuck may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38105. Chuck was a remarkable person whose love for the sea, fishing, music, baseball, dirtbikes and, most of all, his son will never be forgotten. Chuck started his career in fishing while living in Hull at the young age of 13. He took to the water and boating immediately and had great skill as a fisherman. His work ethic was strong, often laboring for 18 hour days and participating in trip fishing which could often last many weeks. He was often referred to as “Captain Hurricane” because he never backed down from a storm. Recently, Chuck was self employed with Finch & Son doing vinyl siding, windows and roofing. Chuck had love for baseball, a game that he fully embraced as a youngster, and a game that he grew to love even more watching his son play. Chuck took great joy in watching Ryan’s games. He loved to take his son and nieces & nephews (who lovingly referred to him as “Uncle Chuck-A-Luck”) on camping trips, out to eat, swimming, sledding and dirtbiking. Most of all, Chuck will be remembered as a loving and devoted father to Ryan.
