Carey of Quincy, Brian Carey of Brooklyn, N.Y., Christine Hunter of Quincy and Timothy Carey of Northampton, MA. Brother of Robert Carey and Carol Currie both of Holbrook, and the late Joan Daley. Devoted Grandfather of Christopher, Ian, Julianne, Emily Rose, Derek and Pearl. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hoursThursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Charles Arthur Carey was born in Boston and grew up in Dorchester. He moved to Quincy in 1948 and graduated from North Quincy High School Class of 1952. He served in the United States Navy from Dec. 1952 until Nov. 1956. He worked as a car salesman for various dealership more recently for Auto Country in Abington. He had a passion for golf, his family remembers him as really enjoying that sport. He also enjoyed fishing. He was a former member of the North Quincy Knights of Columbus. Friend of Bill W.
