Smith, Charles A. of Quincy June 16, 2008. Beloved husband of 57 years to Anne M. (MacDonald) Smith. Loving father of Anne M. Smith of Quincy and Charles A. Smith & wife Nancy of Rockland. Brother of the late Rita Battos, Anna Mae Smith, Helen Ryan, Dorothy Crehan, and Philip Smith. Loving grandfather of Daniel & Brian Smith. Charles worked as a supervisor for First National in Somerville for 36 years, retiring in 1978. He then worked 9 years as a contracting supervisor for Boston Housing Authority. During WWII, he served in the Army Air Corp. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
