Cedric W. Gallup

Cedric W. Gallup of Weymouth died February 20, 2015 at the age of 78.

Cedric entered the United States Marine Corps after graduating high school. After being honorably discharged he worked as a carpenter alongside his father. For many years he worked as a foreman for Massa in Hingham. Later, he became head custodian at Weymouth Town Hall.

Father of Stephen Gallup of CA. Brother of Eva Kasick of CA, Shirley Gillespie of OR, Carol Sanders of PA, Edward Gallup of FL, Jane Gallup of Weymouth, Eunice Smith of CA, Arlene Martin of CA and the late Alvin Gallup. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

A service will be celebrated in the Spring in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, South Weymouth. Donations in memory of Cedric may be made to the Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
