Cecilia Contestabile

Contestabile, Cecilia (Mosesso) of Milton, May 16, 2008. Beloved wife of Pietro Contestabile of Milton. Loving mother of Vivian Crowley and her husband Bernie of Weymouth and Phyllis Contestabile and her husband Paul Stevens of Weymouth. Sister of Italia Dilucente, Ennio Mosesso, both of Castel del Giudice, Italy, Pepino Mosesso of Montreal and the late Domenico and Toni Mosesso. Cherished grandmother of Lisa and Stephen Crowley, both of Weymouth. Cecilia’s family meant everything to her. She loved to cook for both her family and others. Cecilia was an avid gardener and enjoyed growing her tomato plants. She was very proud of her arrival in America from Italy in 1956 and then gaining U.S. Citizenship in the 1960’s. Mrs. Contestabile was a sweet, generous, giving and hard-working lady. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3-6 PM. Burial in Milton Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mrs. Contestabile may be made to Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock St. Quincy, MA 02171.
