Cecilia A. Miller

Miller, Cecilia A. (Ritchie) of Hanover, formerly of PA, died September 6, 2016 at the age of 101. 

Cecilia adored her family, traveling to Florida to visit her sister yearly and to Massachusetts to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her faith was very important to her and she was very active in St. Cecilia’s Parish in PA and with her community. Cecilia enjoyed working in her garden and later in life, her daughter’s garden. She worked as a seamstress for many years and was very handy, she could make or fix anything. Cecilia was a friend to everyone and always put others before herself. She was very giving and gentle, yet strong. She made anyone she met feel special. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Beloved wife of the late John J. Miller. Cherished mother of Carole McNamara of Hingham. Loving Nana of Robert McNamara and his wife Heather of Sciutate, Karen Corrao and her husband Edward of Pembroke and Ella Cinquino and her husband Joseph of CT. Cherished great grandmother of Olivia, Natalie, Justin, Noah and Dylan. Aunt of Joanne McHale of PA, Joseph Miller of NY, Jim Miller of MD and Rick & Norah Miller of PA. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 9-10 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM followed by the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10:30 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 PM.
