McDonagh, Catherine (McMahon) of Quincy,August 16, 2006. Wife of the late Edward “Ned” McDonagh. Mother of Edward McDonagh and his wife Lisa of Quincy. Sister of Rita McKenna of Quincy and the late Sarah Ryder. Grandmother of Michael J., Kevin T. and Carolyn H. McDonagh all of Quincy. Catherine is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Sea St, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery,West Roxbury. Donations in memory of Mrs. McDonagh may be made to Medical Missionaries of Mary, 179 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA 02143. Catherine was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester. She married the late Edward “Ned” McDonagh . She worked as a clerk for the registry of Motor Vehicles for 10 years retiring back in 1980. Catherine was a member of the Merryshores senior citizens as well as a member of the Wollaston Mothers Club. She is survived by her son Edward M and his wife Lisa of Quincy, a sister Rita McKenna also of Quincy and 3 grandchildren. Catherine is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
