Catherine M. Petruzzelli

Petruzzelli, Catherine M. “Kay” (Palmisano) of Rockland, died January 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Until her retirement, Kay worked for many years as a Nursing Assistant at Saint Margaret’s Hospital in Boston, She and her husband were longtime members of the Italian American Club and in her spare time she always enjoyed playing bingo. She will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Beloved wife of the late Alfred S. Petruzzelli. Loving mother of  Lois Boyd and her husband, Thomas, of Halifax, Thomas Petruzzelli and his wife, Ann Marie, of Abington, Rita Nicholson of Rockland, and her late husband, Paul, Jean Lochiatto and her husband, Joseph, of Abington, Louis Petruzzelli and his wife, Michele, of Whitman, Anthony Petruzzelli of Rockland, Maria Mair and her husband, Steven, of Raynham. Sister of the Vincent Palmisano of Lady Lakes, FL and the late Thomas Palmisano and Mary Luciani. Also survived by 14 grandchildren,10 great grandchildren, and  many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:15 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Bridget’s Church, Abington at 9AM. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
