Cushing, Catherine M. of Hingham, formerly of Lenoxdale, June 5, 2006. Wife of the late John D. Cushing. Loving mother of Margaret E. Cushing of Providence, RI, Daniel H. Cushing of Dorchester and Katherine M. Cushing of Hingham. Loving grandmother of Emily F. Spura of Hadley. Sister of Genevieve Powers of Lenoxdale and the late Alfred Voisin, Maureen Sheehan, Sheila Walsh and Frances Leahey. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Friday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 11 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 5-9 PM. Cremation will follow. Mrs. Cushing worked as a teacher of history before raising her family. She was an active member of the Hingham Catholic Women’s Club and one of the first Eucharistic Ministers for Saint Paul’s Church in Hingham. Also, she taught CCD for many years and was a member of the Memorial Bell Tower Committee.
