Sardone, Catherine L. (Roach) of Reading, formerly of Malden April 5, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Francis C. Sardone. Devoted mother of Frank N. Sardone and his wife Linda of Hopkinton, R.I., Mary Ann Sardone and Joanne Sardone both of Reading and Deborah A. and her husband Kevin M. Sousa of Londonderry, NH. Loving sister of the late Edward and Thomas Roach. Cherished grandmother of Francis N. Jr. and Derek J. Sardone, Kristen L. and Amanda L. Sousa. Great Grandmother of Nicholas Sardone. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Malden at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 2- 4 & 7- 9 PM. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Donations may be made in memory of Catherine to the American Cancer Society, Central NE Region, 18 Tremont Street, Suite 700, Boston, MA 02108. Catherine grew up in Dorchester and spent most of her life in Malden. She enjoyed painting and drawing. Mrs. Sardone also loved to travel. She spent the 6 years travelling to St. Thomas and in her younger years she travelled to Greece and Italy. She had a great sense of humor and was a very strong woman. She will be sadly missed by all those who loved her.
