Catherine “Kay” Tuley

Catherine “Kay” Tuley (Barden) passed away peacefully Monday morning surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Dover NH then raised, and educated in Dorchester. Catherine married her loving husband in 1955 and shortly thereafter moved and settled in North Weymouth for 56 years. Faith was a very important part of Catherine’s life and she was an active member of St. Jeromes Church. She enjoyed cards with her tightly knit group of friends, shopping, crocheting, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

Loving wife of the late Matthew F. Tuley. Beloved mother of John and Janine Tuley of Pembroke, Lauren and Paul Campbell of Weymouth, Jacquie and the late Charlie Dann of Weymouth. Close cousin to Irene Sweeney of Chelsea and loving sister-in-law to Gertrude Barden of Milton. Admired sister to the late William Barden, Edward Barden, Esther Cullen, Mary Cook, Rita Barden, and Sister Rita Michael. Catherine is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial to immediately follow in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations may be made in Catherine’s memory to St Anthony Shrine and Ministry Center 100 Arch St. Boston, MA 02110
