Catherine “Katy” Mastropietro

Mastropietro, Catherine “Katy” (Ferrisi) of Marshfield, died June 12, 2013 at the age of 96 surrounded by her loving family.

Catherine was an amazing caregiver, caring for not only her own daughter but for everyone in her life.  She enjoyed cooking and baking.  Catherine’s main passion was her family, she loved to spend time with them creating memories that will last forever.  She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Pre deceased by the love of her life Joseph.  Devoted mother of Carole MacDermott and her husband Edward of Marshfield. Loving Grandmother of Kevin and his wife Andrea, Todd and his wife Paula and the late Teddy, great Grandmother of Brett, Maddux, Connor, Ryan, Tyler and Tedy, and great-great Grandmother of Ebin.  Devoted sister of her late brothers and sister.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends especially Rosa Mazzei and Gina Mazzei Anderhub.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
