Catherine “Honey” Macdougall

MacDougall, Catherine N. (Gillooly) “Honey” of Quincy, died November 5, 2018.  

Honey adored her family and always put others before herself. If there was anything anyone ever needed, she was there. She had a huge and caring heart. Honey enjoyed music and boating with friends in the summer. She was a member of the Quincy Yacht Club and worked as a sales representative for over 30 years at PPN. She was a special person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Daughter of the late Edward and Catherine Gillooly. Beloved wife of the late Donald M. MacDougall. Loving sister of Frank Gillooly and his wife Carol of North Carolina, David Gillooly and his wife Kathleen of Quincy, Patricia “Snookie” Robinson and her husband Richard of Stoughton, Jean Hartman of Stoughton, John Gillooly and his wife Cindy of Easton, Dennis Gillooly and his wife Anna of Maine, and the late Edward Gillooly and surviving spouse Pauline, Carol Smith, Mary Gillooly, and Susan Jones. Cherished sister in law of Robert MacDougall. Honey was like a mother to the late Mark Gillooly and like a grandmother to his daughter Lauren Catherine Gillooly. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friend Sheila Lunnin. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Honey may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
