Catherine F. Hurlebaus

Hurlebaus, Catherine F. (Ammidown) of Weymouth, passed away May 4, 2017. Catherine was born in Boston to the late Clifton and Katherine Ammidown. Catherine was an avid Red Sox fan and she was known as the “neighborhood mom”. Family was the cornerstone of Catherine’s life and all who knew her will miss her dearly.

Catherine was predeceased by the love of her life Edward Hurlebaus. Cherished mother of Jennifer M. Hurlebaus, Edward Hurlebaus and Meaghan Hurlebaus all of Weymouth. Loving sister of Robert Kennedy and his wife Frances of South Carolina, Edith Moroney and her husband Thomas of Texas and predeceased by her siblings Barbara Kennealey, James Kennedy and her twin brother Clifton “Skipper” Ammidown. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
