Catherine F. “Kitty” Hogan

Hogan, Catherine F. (DeAcetis) “Kitty” of Weymouth, died March 24, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Kitty worked in the fashion industry for most of her life and shared her love of shopping and fashion with her family. She could often be found at Foxwoods Resort or enjoying a night out to dinner with her companion Dick. She will be remembered for her loving and compassionate nature and her dedication to her family. 

Beloved wife of the late Lester Hogan. Longtime companion of Richard Labrie of Weymouth. Devoted mother of Edward Hogan and his wife JoAn of Salem, NH, Catherine Curley and her husband John of Chalfont, PA and the late Tricia Zarella and Stephen Hogan. Loving mother-in-law of Robert Zarella of Easton. Cherished “Nana” of Loria Hankel, Edward Hogan, Jr., Thomas Loring, Michael Hogan, Kristin Perry, Nicole Hearn, Robert Zarella, Katie Zarella, John Curley IV, Michael Zarella, 5 great-granchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Loving sister of the late Susan Price, Lillian Smith and Frank DeAcetis Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Kitty may be made to the American Lung Association of MA, 460 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA 02451.
