Catherine B. Kelly

Kelly, Catherine B. “Kay” (Murphy) of  East Sandwich and Port Charlotte, FL died December 10, 2014, she was 92.

Kay worked at Raytheon, Jordan Marsh and in her earlier years at the House of Murphy in Roxbury, a restaurant operated by her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a cherished grandmother. She was a devout catholic and proud of her Irish heritage. Her family and her faith were the foundation of all that was truly important to her. She will be dearly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. 

The beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Kelly. Mother of  Thomas J. Kelly, Jr. and his wife Sharon formerly of Hingham , Eugene Kelly and his wife Laesse of Waltham and Robert & Joseph Kelly both of South Weymouth. Sister of Mary Whoriskey of West Roxbury and the late Eleanor, Eugene and Richard Murphy. Cherished grandmother of Heather Kelly and Thomas J. Kelly, III. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-5 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main St. SOUTH WEMOUTH (RT. 18 – opposite of So. Shore Hospital.)  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial will be private.
