Catherine Agnes “Honey” Farrell

Farrell, Catherine Agnes “Honey” (McElhiney) of Dorchester, passed away September 26, 2011. The beloved wife of the late Paul B. Farrell. Loving mother of Catherine and her husband Gerard Guarnotta of Quincy, John Farrell and his wife Terry of San Diego, CA and the late Paul Farrell. Sister of Mary Tirrell of Florida. Catherine is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The essence of her life was her family. She dedicated her life to raising her children and taking care of her cherished husband Paul. Catherine was devoted to the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary – Queen of The Universe Church in Orlando, Florida. She and her late husband Paul enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit the Basilica. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday morning 8:30 -9:30 am in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Friday at 10am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Catherine may be made to The Alzheimers Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
