Catherine A. Berlo

Catherine A. (Harrington) Berlo of Quincy, formerly of Hyde Park, died September 22, 2018.

Catherine was an active parishioner in St. Mary’s Church in Quincy. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing in the church choir. In the early years she took great pride in tending to her garden. Catherine was a devoted mother and was happiest surrounded by family.  

Beloved wife of the late Robert M. Berlo. Devoted mother of Joseph Berlo and his wife Carol Sylvia of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Joseph Daniel and his wife Kate, Reece Christopher and great-granddaughter Rose Brenda. Loving sister of Margaret Gallivan and her husband Edward of Yarmouthport. Sister-in-law of Susan Mulligan of Marshfield, Mary Burneiaka and her husband Adam of Rockland, Anna Kennedy of South Boston, James Berlo and his wife Stephanie of Quincy, Rose Hines of Quincy and the late William Berlo, Henry Berlo and Virginia McParland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, especially Mark, Michael, Stephen, Ted and Beth Gallivan.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Catherine may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
