Catalina Mortel

Catalina (Villarosa) Mortel of Quincy, died October 14, 2022. The beloved wife of 53 years to the late Antonio Mortel. Cherished mother of Harold Mortel and his wife Nina Lyn of Quincy and Glenda Feliciano and her husband Dante of Quincy. Devoted Lola to Alex, Nikko, Jerald and Haiden Mortel and DJ and Daniel Feliciano.  

Catalina was born, raised and educated in Balayan Batangas, Philippines. She came to the United States in 1978 and brought her family over in 1986. She worked as a teacher for many years, a profession she took great pride in. Catalina was very proud of her family. She loved to be surrounded by her grandchildren whom she cherished. She will be sadly missed.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday, Oct. 20 from 5-9 PM  in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday Oct. 21 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.

Cremation will follow.
