Carolyn R. Wetterberg

Carolyn R. Wetterberg (Barrett) of North Weymouth and Linden Ponds, Hingham, formerly of Dorchester, died suddenly April 20, 2013 at the age of 72.

Carolyn was a retired registered nurse and the former owner of Pond View Nursing Facility in Jamaica Plain. She was a “people person” and always tried to make other feel welcomed. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, flowers and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Beloved wife of Leonard Wetterberg. Loving mother of Richard L. and wife Marcia of South Weymouth, Robert F. and wife Patricia, Ronald P., all of Wareham, and Walter B. of Braintree. Devoted “Gran” to R.J., Ryan, Allie Rose, Lenny, David, Drew, Michael and Patrick. Sister of Walter Barrett of Weymouth and Rita Barrett of Stoneham. Carolyn was also survived by many extended members of the Barrett and Bell families.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Square).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:15 AM prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 9AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Donations in memory of Carolyn may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
