Carolyn B. Gill

Gill, Carolyn B. (Bruce), 79 of North Weymouth, died April 6, 2015.

Carolyn grew up in Chelsea and has lived in North Weymouth for over 40 years. She enjoyed crafting and was skilled at crocheting. Carolyn could often be found gardening, cooking and baking. She looked forward to time spent with her grandchildren and being surrounded by her family. 

Beloved wife of Edward G. Gill, Jr. of North Weymouth. Devoted mother of Stephen J. Gill and his wife Veronica of Quincy, Robert M. Gill and his wife Cindy of Mansfield, Laurie A. Drew and her husband Barry of North Weymouth, Michael E. Gill and his wife Tonia of Foxboro, Lisa M. Gill and her fiancé Raymond Shaw of North Weymouth and the late John J. “Jackie” Gill and his widow Nancy of NH. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Malcolm R. Bruce of Braintree, Martha E. Green of NH, Frederick M. Bruce of Quincy, and the late Robert H. Bruce, Jr. and Ruth Ethel Sullivan.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 10 AM. Burial at Lakeside Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Carolyn may be made to the Alzheimers Assn., c/o Carol’s Crew, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472. Carol’s Crew has been raising money for this foundation for over 6 years and it is something that is very close to their heart.
