Carolyn Arroyo

Arroyo, Carolyn (Kenney) “Carol” of Quincy, died August 23, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. 

In her earlier years, Carolyn worked as a clerk for various companies which became and important part of her life. She and her husband enjoyed traveling, especially to Aruba, Bermuda and Florida.  Carolyn was an avid reader and had a love for a great story.  Her main passion in life was her family and spending time with those she loved.  Carolyn will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved wife of 49 years to Gerard M. Arroyo, BPD retired, of Quincy.  Loving mother of James Arroyo, MSP, and his wife Melissa of Scituate, Christine Ensko and her husband David, MPD, of Mashpee and the late Gerard Arroyo Jr.  Devoted grandmother of Joshua Kelley and Sophia and Angela Arroyo.  Cherished daughter of the late William and Irene Kenney.  Sister of Linda Kenney, William Kenney both of Quincy and the late Thomas Kenney.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carolyn may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
