Caroline T. Bonani

Caroline T. Bonani (Russo) of North Weymouth, a homemaker and lifelong Weymouth resident, passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at the South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth. She was 95 years of age. 

 Loving and devoted wife of 55 years to the late Henry Bonani. Special and wonderful mother of her devoted daughters: Phyllis Carpenito of Buzzards Bay, Linda McDougall of Hingham, Jane Kenney of Weymouth and Kathi Billings also of Weymouth. Caroline also leaves her son-in-laws: Peter McDougall, Joseph Kenney, John Billings and the late Frank Carpenito. Loving sister of John Russo of E. Weymouth, Lucy Berrini of Quincy, Nellie Adams of Whitman and the late Domenic, Tony, Joseph, Mike, Alphonso and Leonard Russo, the late Filomena Bryant and the late Edith Newell. Proud grandmother of Paul McDougall, Michael Kenney, Susan McBirney, David Kenney, Ann-Marie Strode, Frank Carpenito and her dear special Lisa Marie Billings. Loving “Gigi” to her great-grandchildren: Michael, Gianna, Emma, Daniel, Kevin, Steven, Lauren, Sophia, Frankie and Siena. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

 Caroline worked in her early years for the Stetson Shoe Co. in South Weymouth. She enjoyed ice cream, hot dip, playing cards, puzzles, trips to Foxwoods but she most especially enjoyed time spent with her family.

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation in the NORTH WEYMOUTH McDonald Home at 40 Sea St. (off Rte 3A at Bicknell Sq) Saturday morning at 11:00am. Funeral Mass to follow in the Immaculate Conception Church East Weymouth, at 1:00pm and burial in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
