Caroline Rafferty

Mrs. Caroline (Ciampa) Rafferty of Hanover, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 25, 2024.  

Carol was a loyal family member to her husband, brothers, kids and grandchildren. She had a zest for life, never missing a good party whether with family or friends. Carol had a wonderful sense of humor and gave even when she had little. She adored and was adored by her dog, Lola. Even though she was small in stature, she was big in heart. Carol was a fighter through life, even at the end.

Beloved wife of the late Francis “Frank” Rafferty.

Loving mother of Michael Rafferty of Rockland, Jessica Genninger and her husband, Adam, of Worcester, and Sean Rafferty and his wife, Krissi, of East Bridgewater. Sister of Angelo Ciampa and his wife, Marie, of Medford, and the late Frederick Ciampa, Enrico Ciampa, and Richard Ciampa. Cherished Grandma to Nicholas, Michaela, Tatum, Liam, Thomas, Christian, and Caitlin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church – Rockland,  at 11 AM. Cremation will follow.
