Golden, Carole F. (Morash) of Quincy, November 4, 2004. Loving mother of Lisa Cleary and her husband William, Susan Bershad and her husband Barry; all of Mansfield, Linda Morash and her partner Jennifer Smith of CT and Doug A. “Harry” Morash and his wife Michelle of Westfield. Devoted sister of Claire Mulready of Milford. Beloved grandmother of Paul and Benjamin Bershad, Alexa, Michaela and Sean Cleary and Matthew, Ryan and Grace Morash Also survived by many nieces and nephews. After graduation from Bridgewater State College where she earned both Bachelor and master’s degrees in English, Ms. Golden taught in the Brockton and Hingham school systems and at St. Gregory’s High School in Boston. For a number of years she was a customer service representative for Bank Boston. Ms. Golden worked as a volunteer for both the Literacy Volunteers of America and the Neponset Watershed. She was also a member of the South Shore Association of Mothers of twins and the American National Aquatic School where she won many trophies for her swimming ability. She volunteered for many years as a poll worker in Wollaston during all elections. Carole was a daily communicant at St. Ann’s Church and a member of the St. Ann’s Marianne’s.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Ms. Golden may be made to Literacy Volunteers of America, c/o Thomas Crane Public Library, 40 Washington Street, Quincy, MA 02169
