Sullivan, Carol M. of Hingham, formerly of West Roxbury, February 28, 2005. Loving sister of Barbara Sullivan of Hingham, Jeanne Bernard of Reading, Roger W. Sullivan of Hingham, and the late Louise Malone & Richard W. Sullivan, Jr. Also survived by 14 nieces & nephews; 22 grand nieces & nephews; and 2 great grand nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Carol worked as an Insurance Agent for John Hancock Financial Services in Boston for many years, specializing in estate planning. She was a member of the Million Dollor Round Table and member and president of the Boston Life Underwriters’ Association. An accomplished mezzo-soprano, she sang with the Handel & Haydn Society of Boston and the Fine Arts Chorale of the South Shore. She also gave a solo concert at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. She was active in Republican politics on the state and national level and served as treasurer of the Edward W. Brooke Senate campaign committee. She served as a member and Chairman of the Hingham Advisory Committee. At the time of her death, she was active on the Board of The New England Friends Home in Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carol may be made to New England Friends Home, 86 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham, MA 02043.
