Carol A. Fleming

Fleming, Carol A. (Beel) 74 of Naples, FL, formerly of Squantum and Braintree, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness on December 21, 2021.

Carol was born and raised in Squantum, MA, the only child of John and Rose (McKenna) Beel. Carol graduated from North Quincy High School in 1964 and began her life-long career in accounting, first at New England Merchants National Bank in Boston and then at Bay State Building Specialties of Braintree, where she retired after 25 years of dedicated service. On December 22, 1972 she married her husband and best friend of 49 years, Donald L. Fleming. They moved to Braintree to raise their daughters and resided there for 30 years, before moving to Naples, FL.

She adored her family and enjoyed sewing and making clothing for her two daughters when they were young. Carol was also an excellent baker and would share many of her cherished recipes, handed down from her mother, to friends and family. Abiding by a superior work ethic, which she instilled in her children, Carol never shied away from a challenge or waivered in her ideals. Her commitment to work and family will forever influence the many lives she touched.

Cherished mother to her two daughters, Melissa R. Froio and her husband Anthony of Kingston and Jessica L. Fleming of Bonita Springs, FL. Cherished and loved Mimi of Nina, Emma, and Rose Froio. Nothing made Carol more proud than the accomplishments of her husband, children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her dear lifelong friend Frances C. Lewis of Squantum.

The family is very grateful for the loving care Carol received from the ICU Dept. at Physicians Regional Medical Center, Naples, FL.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, January 7th, 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 8th at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, immediately following the service.
