Carol A. Flaherty

Flaherty, Carol A. (Albrecht) born May 19, 1937, of Braintree formerly of Dorchester , passed away on April 9, 2011 after along battle with cancer. Loving mother of Nancy Breen and her husband Ronald of Plaistow, NH, Edward Flaherty and his wife Celeste of Quincy, John Flaherty and his wife Margaret of Quincy, Paul Flaherty and his wife Barbara of Danville, NH and Laura Ross and her husband Kevin of Plymouth, MA. Devoted Grammy of 12, Sean, Patrick, Christina, Kelli, Jimmy, Katie, Brittney, Joey, Andrew, Gabrielle, Isabelle and Cormac. The beloved sister of Anne Murphy and her late husband Larry of Sharon, Mary Keenan and her husband James of Andover. Cherished Aunt and Great Aunt of Joe, Lynn and Julie and their children. Dear friend to many. Carol loved traveling, walking, music, reading, movies her trips to Foxwoods, getting together with her friends and most of all the Red Sox. Retired employee of OneBeacon Insurance, Boston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. Quincy, on Tuesday 4-8pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta at St. Margaret’s Church, 800 Columbia Road, Dorchester, MA at 10am. Burial will be private.
