Carmen L. Zakrzewski

Zakrzewski, Carmen L. (Valiante) of Weymouth, formerly of South Boston, died October 13, 2013 at the age of 101.

Carmen devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Wife of the late Mitchell S. Zakrzewski. Loving mother of Paul A. Zakrzewski of New York, NY, Joseph Zakrzewski  and wife Diane of Rockland, Paul A. Zakrzewski of New York, NY, Frederick Zakrzewski and wife Ann Marie of Bridgewater, and late William R. Zakrzewski and his wife Jane. Sister of Stanley Molignano, and the late Eugene Valiante, Viola Flanagan and Alfons Valiante. She was the cherished “Nana” to 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
