Carmella F. Panaro

Carmella F. Panaro (Tropeano) of Weymouth, passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family on October 27, 2023.  She was a graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School and Boston Business School. Carmella worked for over 30 years as a Data Entry Supervisor for Plymouth Rubber in Canton. She was a woman of strong Catholic faith, attended daily mass and a Eucharistic minister at St. Albert Church for many years. The center of Carmella’s life was family, time spent together particularly on the holidays with love, laughter and Italian food. She also cherished her close relationships with Saint Albert’s friends.

Beloved wife of the late John A. Panaro. Loving mother of Joanne C. Panaro, Theresa C. Panaro, Carmella F. Frazer, John A. Panaro and his wife Joanne all of Weymouth. Godmother and aunt of Susan McNamara and her husband James of Norwell. Also survived by nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Carmella was predeceased by her 11 brothers and sisters. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 8AM-9:30AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Norwell VNA and Hospice or to The Weymouth Food Pantry.
