Carleen M. Mericantante

Mericantante, Carleen M. (Riley) of Abington, died March 7, 2018.

Carleen was born in Medford to the late Joseph and Raffaela Riley. She attended Medford High School later becoming a longtime resident of Abington. Carleen was an avid crossword puzzler and loved to spend time with her family.

Beloved wife of 56 years to Thomas J. Mericantante of Abington. Loving mother of Carla Royce of Cohasset, Caron Alibrandi and her husband A.J. of Hull and the late Carol Safford. Cherished sister of Sister Maureen Riley of WI, William Riley of Billerica and the late Joseph Riley. Proud Gamma of 6 and Great Gamma of 4.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Bridget’s Church, Abington at 9AM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rockland.
