Carl Rodgers

Carl Rodgers of Quincy, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024. He was 68.

He was born in Boston to Marie (Senna) and Walter Rodgers and raised in Boston. When he was 10, the family moved to Brockton. Carl graduated from Brockton High School. He worked as a porter for Charles River Park for several years.

Carl was an unwavering Boston Sports fan, especially the Red Sox and the Bruins. He loved music and often followed the Pop Charts, keeping current with today’s hit music. If he wasn’t watching sports or listening to music, Carl enjoyed shopping trips and Brigham’s Ice Cream. 

He was known as a gentle soul with a friendly, sweet disposition. He was loved by many and will be missed by all that were lucky enough to have known him.

Loving brother to Marie Rodgers of Quincy and the late Lorraine Rodgers. Cherished son of the late Marie (Senna) and Walter Rodgers. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday, October 23rd prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
