Austin, Camille T. (Landi) of Quincy, February 21, 2008. Beloved mother of Lauren J. Austin of Quincy. Loving wife of the late Alan M. Austin. Loving Fiance of Paul Burke of Quincy. Camille’s life centered firmly around her daughter Lauren’s activities. Mrs. Austin supported her at Fontbonne Academy with Lauren’s participation in the select chorus, jazz ensemble, musicals, plays and various dance recitals. Camille also helped in many of the fundraising endeavors at Fontbonne. Camille loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Florida and the Barbado’s, where she was recently engaged. She thoroughly enjoyed her work at the State House for the past 30 years, working for the past 5 years in Speaker Salvatore DiMasi’s Office as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to the State House, she worked as a dental assistant and taught at Tufts University. Camille participated in many activities at Sacred Heart Church in N. Quincy. She was a past president of the school’s PTO program, member of the choir for 4 years and a eucharistic minister for over 10 years. She enjoyed dancing and shopping. Her family remembers her as loving, sparkly, vivacious, feisty and courageous. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Camille may be made to the Austin Family Scholarship Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, 371 Hancock St., N. Quincy MA 02171.
