Caitlin J. Burkard

Caitlin J. Burkard of Rockland, died October 28, 2017, surrounded by her family.

Through organ donation Caitlin gave the gift of life to four people. She was 31. Caitlin worked for Armin Industries in Dighton where she was blessed with many friends. She was a talkative woman with beautiful blue eyes and an infectious laugh. She enjoyed scrapbooking, poetry and exploring spirituality through her love for gem stones and angels. Her son was the foundation of her happiness and she had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially fish and their cat Trouble. Familiar with addiction, Caitlin became a great source of support to others in need. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Cherished daughter of Virginia (Rogers) Burkard of Rockland and the late Michael Burkard. Devoted mother of Christopher. Loving sister of Dan, Chris and the late Michael Burkard, all of Rockland. Best friend of Michelle Pierce of Whitman. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 12-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral services will follow in the funeral home on Sunday at 4 PM, where loved ones will have the opportunity to share memories of Caitlin.
