C. Robert Lynch

C. Robert Lynch passed away suddenly at the age of 75 years old on Sunday, August 28, 2022.  

Robert was the loving husband of Joyce (Jacka) Lynch for 49 years. 

Born in Quincy, he was the son of the late Charles Lynch and the late Edith Ryder of Weymouth and brother of Charlotte Jenkins and her husband, Wayne, of South Weymouth. Robert was also uncle to several nieces and a nephew as well at great nieces and nephews.

Robert graduated from Weymouth High School, class of 1966. He was the owner and founder of  C. Robert Lynch Carpet Cleaning for 40 years. 

Joyce and Robert enjoyed traveling. They adventured throughout Europe many times and visited Tahiti and five other South Pacific islands for their 25^th wedding anniversary. For his 40^th birthday, Robert surprised Joyce with a trip to Austria because he wanted to learn how to ski. After that trip, they became avid skiers, returning each year to Europe to ski the Alps in Austria, France, Switzerland or Italy. 

Robert and Joyce also spent winters skiing with friends and family in North Conway, NH. Recently, Robert and Joyce enjoyed more leisurely traveling to Daytona Beach, FL and Falmouth, MA. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, South Weymouth, MA on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 11 -12 noon followed by memory sharing at 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or perform an act of kindness in remembrance of Robert.
