Burpee “Bert” L. Giffin

Giffin, Burpee “Bert” L. of Quincy January 18, 2007. Husband of the late Hilda M. (Woods) Giffin. Loving father of Gladys Teachman of CT, Robert Giffin of CA, Janet Sorrentino of Weymouth, Joan St. Angelo of FL and June Parsons of Kingston. Brother of Helen Garvey of Woburn and the late Iona Gordon and Madeline McLaughlin. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at Noon. Visitation prior to service 11:15 AM – Noon. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Bert worked for J. C. Corrigan in Dorchester as a sheet metal worker for 45 years, retiring in 1973. He was a huge Red Sox fan.
