Bryan A. Lambert

Bryan A. Lambert, beloved son of the late W. Edwin Lambert Jr. and Theresa A (Chetwynd) Lambert, passed away on May 9th, 2024 following a brief illness at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. He was preceded in death by his siblings Jeanemarie Bacon, William E. Lambert III, Paul A. Lambert and Kevin Lambert. Bryan is survived by his mother Theresa and his sister Donna (Lambert) Kenney and her husband Daniel Kenney of Bridgewater, sister-in-law Patricia Lambert, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Quincy, Bryan graduated from Quincy Vocational Technical High School in 1986. He pursued a career in the plumbing field, dedicating many years to the trade. Bryan had a passion for fishing, often spending time with his friends down in Hull. He had recently developed an interest in the wildlife around his home in Bridgewater, enjoying peaceful moments on the deck with his mother and hand-feeding the creatures in their backyard.

For many years, Bryan worked in healthcare security at Carney Hospital, where he was known for his dedication and professionalism. In his leisure time, he enjoyed collecting old coins, solving crossword puzzles, and playing games on his iPad. Bryan had a remarkable talent for spelling and was a formidable opponent in games of Words with Friends, often emerging victorious.

Bryan will be fondly remembered for his quiet and contemplative approach to life. He cherish solitude, finding solace and peace in moments of quiet reflection. His unwavering devotion extended not only to his family and friends, but also to his beloved little black cats, who were constant companions throughout his journey.

A memorial service to celebrate Bryan’s life will be held at Keohane Funeral Home in Quincy on Wednesday May 15th, 2024 at 6PM. There will be visiting hours from 4-6PM prior to the remembrance. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MSPCA.
