Brunislaw “Ben” Poznysz

Poznysz, Brunislaw “Ben” of Haverhill, December 28, 2007. Beloved husband of Doris (Lord) Poznysz of Haverhill. Loving father of Richard Poznysz and his wife Barbara of Mattapoisett, and Jeanne Dignan and her husband Patrick of Groveland. Loving brother of Mary DeRoma of Roslindale and the late Ann DeRoma. Cherished grandfather of Christine Wilk of Hingham, Michael Poznysz of Mattapoisett, Bridget Dignan of RI, Emily Donegan of VT, and Stephanie Dignan of Groveland. Also survived by 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Poznysz was a graduate of Roslindale High School. He served his country as a Veteran of the U.S. Navy from February 4, 1943 to November 12, 1945. Ben was employed by A&P Tea for 24 years and by Elliott Shipping of Gloucester for 15 years. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Tuesday at 5 PM. Visiting hours will be prior to the service on Tuesday from 2-5 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
