Bridget V. Morris

Bridget V. Morris (Comer) of Milton, formerly of Quincy, passed away March 7, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Bridget was born in Headford, County Galway, Ireland. She devoted her life to her family. She will be remembered as a strong, loving, caring and compassionate woman. Her Catholic faith was a very important part of her life. She spent her life caring for the elderly.

Daughter of the late James and Bridget Comer. Beloved wife of James Morris. Loving mother of James E. Morris and fiance Kathy Hannigan of Braintree, Michael C. Morris and wife Katie Jo of Norwell, Kevin P. Morris and wife Meredith of East Walpole, Mary Frances Morris of Milton, and Christine B. Morris of Milton. Devoted grandmother of Kaitlyn A. Morris, Michaela M. Morris, Michael Comer Morris, Jr., and McKenna  M.C. Morris. Sister of Mary Sweeney and her late husband Tom, Bernie Comer and wife Kathleen, Oliver Comer and wife Catherine, all of Ireland, Kieran Comer and wife Mary Ellen of Milton and the late Patrick, James, Frank and his late wife Ann, and the late Michael and his wife Mary. Niece of late beloved Aunt Bea. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Quincy.
