Brian D. Gruszka

Brian D. Gruszka, of Weymouth, passed away suddenly on December 9, 2024. 

Brian graduated from North Weymouth High School and pursued a career as an electrician. Later in life, his passion for baseball and the Boston Red Sox led him to work at Fenway Park in the concession stand. This opportunity allowed Brian to witness countless home games and enjoy memorable concerts.

Brian enjoyed the great outdoors, often finding joy in fishing and camping, with his trusty dog Star always by his side.  In his younger years Brian love spending summer days on Cape Cod with his siblings, Christmas and the Fourth of July were particularly special to him, as they were occasions filled with family gatherings and cherished memories. He took immense pride in spending time with his family, particularly his mother and his precious nephews, Brik and Cassius Crosby. These quiet moments became his proudest accomplishments, creating family bonds that will echo through the years.

Loving Brother to Edward Gruszka and his wife Liz of Weymouth, Robert Gruszka of Weymouth, and Michael Gruszka of California. Beloved Uncle to Brik and Cassius Crosby of Plymouth. Additionally, Brian leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will remember him fondly.

Brian was preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Beth Gruszka; Father, Edward Gruszka; and sister, Bethanne Gruszka. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 12/18/2024 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2024, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome's Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.
