Brian Gillis

Gillis, Brian of North Weymouth, died suddenly on November 25, 2014.

Brian was born and raised in Dorchester then moved to Quincy and graduated from North Quincy High School. He was always a hard worker working through high school for the City of Quincy, then the City of Boston, and spent some time in the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Dept but most of all enjoyed being an EMT and EMT instructor for Fallon Ambulance. Brian was very active in the community as a member of the Savin Hill Yacht Club and recently joined the Weymouth Elks and Knights of Columbus. He has lived in Weymouth for the past 25 years. Brian enjoyed fishing and being around his friends but lived for his dog Rosie. Brian made friends anywhere he went and will be missed for his generosity and kindness.

Beloved son of Irene (Gillis) McKeon and Thomas McKeon of Weymouth. Cherished Grandson of Velma Gillis (Gauthier) and Vincent of Leominster and Delia (Costello) McKeon of Dorchester. Nephew of Mary McKeon of Quincy and godson of Leo Gillis of Leominster. Brian is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
