Brian F. Smith

Smith, Brian F. of Quincy, February 13, 2005. Beloved son of George C. Smith, Jr. of Quincy and the late Jeanne D. (Daley). Loving brother of Kevin F. and his wife Molly Jenks of Reading, Carole S. and her husband John Gerien of NY, Dianne S. and her husband Steven Pires of NY, Stephen G. and his wife Mona of Marshfield and Barry F.X. and his wife Susan Ogrodnik-Smith of N. Reading. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Brian had dealt with many health issues througout his life. Through it all he remained positive and upbeat. His family admired the strength he showed on a daily basis. People that knew him never had a bad word to say. He was a kind and gentle man. Brian was an avid Boston sports fan. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics. He also kept up with the North Quincy High School Red Raiders sports teams. He worked at Frank Evans Co. in Quincy for 5 years in general maintenance and later worked at Quincy Hospital for 10 years in housekeeping. He stopped working in 1992 due to his illness.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Thursday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 9 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
