MacIver, Brian E. of Hingham, July 30, 2006. Beloved son of Bruce D. MacIver and Patricia E. Dawson-MacIver of Hingham. Loving brother of Eric W. MacIver, of Hingham, David P. Dawson-MacIver of Hingham and his fiance Michelle P. Bowlen of Whitman. Grandson of Irene C. MacIver of Hingham, and the late Edmond H. MacIver, Paul Dawson of Weymouth and Ilona Quinn of Cohasset. Best friend of Sean, Richie, Justin and Mark. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Service in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Brian’s passion was his family and the ocean. He was most proud of the relationships he had with his family members. Brian is one of three brothers and they always looked out for one another. They enjoyed spending time together and he always followed them in their sporting activities. His family spent many vacations camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Brian still looked forward to these trips even after he graduated from high school. Brian was a commercial fisherman working with New Horizon Fisheries in Hingham. He loved the sea and wanted to work towards his Captains license. Brian was also a certified scuba diver and enjoyed skiing. He was a graduate of Hingham High School class of 2000.
