Finn-Cochran, Brenda of Quincy August 5, 2007. Beloved wife of Newton J. Cochran, M.D. Loving mother of Meredith Craig and Shannon Massarelli, both of Quincy. Loving daughter of Muriel and the late Edward Finn of Quincy. Sister of Gail Minassian of Norton. Also lovingly survived by 9 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 6-9 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Brenda worked as a Certified Nurse Practitioner for Wollaston Medical Associates in Quincy. She had previously worked for 30 years at Carney Hospital in Dorchester as a nurse. A graduate of St. Mary’s Grammer School in Quincy and Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree, Brenda continued her higher education at Boston University School of Nursing and earned her Masters Degree from Northeastern University. Brenda was a giving person and enjoyed charity work, focusing much of her attention on African charities. She was a jogger for over 40 years and was a regular at the Quincy YMCA. She also enjoyed traveling and was a board member for Hospice of Boston. She will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched.
