Bradford B. Norris

Norris, Bradford B. of Quincy, died January 2, 2018.

Brad grew up in Hyde Park, moved to Dorchester and then moved to Quincy in 1975. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Korean War. Brad worked for many years at the Boston Naval Shipyard as a Machinist. He was a member of the American Legion. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Beloved husband to the late Dorothy T. Norris (Lee). Cherished brother to the late Marjorie Norris. Loving Godfather of Maureen Howe of Dorchester. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A heartfelt special thanks to his wonderful neighbors, especially his dear friends Norma Rodberg and Peter and Nancy Mullen. Thanks to the wonderful staff at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital for their support and compassion during Brad’s difficult times. Special thanks to all the nursing staff from the Rehab’s 4th floor at Marion Manor and a special thanks to Nurse Lucas Nunes for his wonderful compassion to Brad.

A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Agatha’s Church, Milton at 10 AM on Saturday 1/13. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in memory of Brad to The Lewey Body Dementia Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
