Barbara “Boston” Kelley

Kelley, Barbara “Boston” of Quincy, died September 25, 2014 after a long illness.

Barby was born and raised in Quincy. She was a 1985 graduate of North Quincy High School. She enjoyed sports, bingo, crocheting, and spending time with her children. Her greatest joy was meeting and holding her new granddaughter Oliviah Cottrell.

Cherished daughter to Mary (Harrington) Kelley and the Late James W. Kelley. Loving mother of Stephen Ritz of Quincy, Erin Cottrell of Virginia, and Ryan Reynolds of Buzzards Bay. Sister to James Kelley and his wife Liz of Rockland, Elaine Simmons and her husband Michael of Dorchester, Robert (Duke) Kelley of Quincy, and Elizabeth Kelley of Ipswich. Beloved grandmother to Oliviah Cottrell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30AM Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
